| Echo: They actually say this in a couple of different ways. This is the first one. |
| Echo: Yeah. |

| Frank: You heard it in today’s dialogue. They also say it in two other words. |

| Frank: Some people translate that as “welcome honored guest”, some people “welcome honored presents”. If there’s some kind of honor and welcoming going on, it’s really all you need to know. |

| Frank: I actually like this phrase a lot. It means “to walk slowly”. |

| Frank: Exactly. In English, we would say “take care”. |

| Frank: Let’s get back to basics here. We’re talking about restaurants. If I go into a restaurant, I’m just been welcomed very warmly, I’m an honored guest. How do I get a table on a place like this? How do I say, “Do you have a seat?” |
| Echo: Actually, neither of these two. But say, 位子。(Wèizi.). |
| Frank: So how do you say “do you have a seat?” |
| Echo: 你们有位子吗？(Nǐmen yǒu wèizi ma?) |
| Frank: Great. Now they’re likely to come back with how many people? |
| Echo: 几位？(Jǐ wèi?) |
| Frank: If you wanted to say “three people”? |
| Echo: 三位。(Sān wèi.) |
| Frank: One more time. “Do you have a table?” |
| Echo: 你们有位子吗？(Nǐmen yǒu wèizi ma?) |
| Frank: How many people? |
| Echo: 几位？(Jǐ wèi?) |
| Frank: Say, there’s just the two of us. |
| Echo: 两位(Liǎng wèi). So romantic dinner. |

| Frank: Now you’ll remember in our last lesson, we give you a set phrase for how to say you’re allergic to something. |

| Frank: We’re getting the example, “I’m allergic to chocolate.” |

| Frank: Now the preposition in that phrase… |

| Frank: …preceded the word for allergic. We’ve got the same structure here. Our preposition is coming before the verb. |

| Frank: “Welcome you to the company to come”. |
