Hello everyone. Welcome to Chinese weekly words. And this week, we are going to talk about… what? Life events. |
出生(chūshēng) means ”to be born" |
(Wǒ shì qī yuè chūshēng de.)"My birthday is in July." |
毕业(bìyè) is ”graduation" |
(Tā de fùmǔ qù cānjiā le tā de bìyè diǎnlǐ.)"Her parents went to her graduation ceremony." |
Okay, 下一个是:工作(gōngzuò) "to work”, or “job" |
(Wǒ de dì yī fèn gōngzuò shì lǎoshī.)"My first job is to be a teacher." |
(Wǒ zuì hǎo de péngyǒu dìnghūn le.)"My best friend got engaged." |
死(sǐ) is ”to die" |
(Wǒ bù xiǎng sǐ.) means ”I don’t want to die." |
Also because the pronunciation of number four is 四(sì), it’s very close to 死(sǐ) in China, number 4 is not a very lucky word. |
So that’s the end. We talked about life events. I hope you guys enjoyed this video and I will be here with you next week. |
